Critique of Practice

Craig regularly works with artists to critique and inspire their practice. Typically, he would look at work made by the artist, suggest what is working well and what could be further developed, and then offer direction in terms of artists to look at, demos, or exercises to undertake. Craig works hard to understand the individual and offer practices and considerations that help them realise their own ideas and flourish as artists.
What Craig's students say
David
“I found Craig's painting classes very enlightening working on colour values with clear visuals and theory and application."
Vicki
"Craig is an excellent and knowledageble tutor. I found his course very enjoyable as well as stimulating and illuminating.
I learned a lot in a short space of time and have already seen the benefits of applying some newly aquired techniques."
Pat
“I joined Craig’s oil painting class a year after finishing a BA in fine art painting.
While I gained much from the conceptual approach on the degree course, I needed to balance this with a renewed focus on the basic elements of composition, value/colour relationships and assertive brushwork. This is exactly what Craig’s course provides.
I would highly recommend the course to beginner and non-beginner alike.”
