OBJECTS

Observational drawing and painting are a central part of Craig Jefferson’s practice. He has always believed that to create works of meaning and substance one has to engage with his surroundings intentionally, with discipline and rigor.

Alongside other projects Craig always has a collection of still life objects set up to work from. Straightforward observation of form seems to open up doors to other ideas in a way that nothing else can.
